I have been thinking about shape a lot lately. I am trying to introduce more organic shapes into my design. I was looking at this tall vase full of branches in my living room the other day and was inspired by the lines against the art. I started photographing the branches and came up with a great image that really is inspiring me. I love the shallow depth of field that leaves some branches blurry and some crisp.
What’s inspiring you?

YOU are inspiring me!!! I know I’m your wife and all and that might discredit my opinion. However, it has blown me away for years how you take something that EVERYONE (or just me) sees every day and takes for granted but you see beauty or get inspired by it.
Remember the tree in Tulsa that you said looked like a dancer? Thousands of people passed by that same tree every day but never once saw the graceful, elegant beauty you saw. I never saw it until you pointed it out. Then I could see nothing else.
Jason, you inspire me to look for the beauty in my surroundings instead of just seeing a jar of twigs on an orange canvas. Thank you for making our lives beautiful and unique.
